Notification has been received of a proposed nightime closure of the A82 at Onich for two weeks from Sunday April 21, 2013. The closure will be for five nights per week from 21.00 hours until 06.00 hours.
This is a particularly controversial proposal as the A82 was closed overnight at Onich for two weeks within the last month, no prior notification of this proposal was given despite recent meetings with Transport Scotland and April is the start of the Tourist season in the West Highlands and Islands.
Your comments on this proposal are urgently sought.
